Having fun with our second winter? Or is this our third winter? I certainly lost track. Not to worry though. Come race day for the Sioux Falls Skedaddle we’ll have a great course and a great weekend of activities planned. This weather got me thinking about a local business that is participating on the Skedaddle Downtown Stroll. Our ever changing weather fits the mission of The Great Outdoor Store. Great Outdoor Store’s mission is to help all of our friends to have fun and be comfortable in the outdoors. As a loyal shopper I assure you that they do this with expert advice, gear and service. If that sounds familiar it should. GOS as the locals call this wonderful shop is our neighbor and our management team has even trained with their team to provide the very best in customer service. We’ve partnered in the past with trail running Q&A’s, fashion blogs and early morning TV spots. Needless to say you’ll want to visit during the Skedaddle Downtown Stroll as GOS is offering 20% off one item when a runner shows their race bib. Nancy Kirstein the GOS Events & Marketing Manager and incredible trail runner believes Sioux Falls is a running town because of the incredible support from great local businesses and groups who encourage people to get outside and enjoy what the east side of the state has to offer. Or simply put, it’s flat. Great Outdoor Store 201 E 10th Street Sioux Falls, SD 57104 605.335.1132 Store Hours: Monday – Saturday: 10am – 8pm Sunday: 12pm – 5pm Greatoutdoorstoreonline.com My team at 605 Running Company and the team at Pink Gorilla Events cannot wait to present the Sioux Falls Skedaddle. We are thankful to all of the great local businesses participating in our event and hope you enjoy your time in Downtown Sioux Falls.
