Fit Advisor

Schedule
- 7–15 hours per week
- Primarily Saturdays and Sundays
- Some additional event support as needed
- Potential for additional weekday hours for strong performers over time
Compensation
- $12.50/hour during a 60-day probationary period
- Pay may increase to up to $14.00/hour following probationary review
- Includes product perks, reward opportunities, and annual wage review
What you’ll do
Customer Experience
- Greet every customer warmly and create a positive first impression
- Provide outfitting recommendations for running shoes, apparel, and accessories
- Deliver a helpful, encouraging, and high-service in-store experience
- Efficiently complete customer transactions
Store Standards
- Open and close the retail shop when scheduled
- Follow non-negotiable procedures for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance
- Help keep the store beautiful, organized, and inviting
- Support daily operational tasks that keep the shop running smoothly
Product & Brand Support
- Stay informed on products and industry trends
- Use customer service training to improve outfitting experiences
- Contribute to marketing support, including social media, direct marketing, and outreach
- Assist with event support including flyer distribution, packet pickup, course marking, timing, and other event-specific duties
Qualifications and skills
- Eligible to work in South Dakota, USA
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 45 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Team-oriented, organized, and detail-focused
- Previous customer service experience is beneficial
- Basic understanding of photography, graphic design, or communications is a plus

Event Operations Crew

Join our Event Operations Crew and help bring our races to life behind the scenes.

Our events are an extension of the 605 Running Company community, and the Event Operations Crew plays a critical role in making them successful. This team works behind the scenes to ensure every race runs smoothly, safely, and at a high standard.
Schedule
Must be available for scheduled 2026 events:
- Sioux Falls Skedaddle: May 15–17
- SuFu Circuit Relay: July 11–12
- 605 Trail Fest: August 13–15
- Trick or Treat Trail Race: October 22–24
- Gobble Wobble 10K: November 19–23
Specific shifts include early mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on event needs.
Compensation
- $12.50/hour
- Includes product perks, reward opportunities, and annual wage review
What you’ll do
Event Setup & Breakdown
- Load and unload equipment including tables, water coolers, barricades, and supplies
- Set up start/finish areas, aid stations, inflatables, and signage
- Tear down and properly store all materials after each event
Course Operations
- Assist with course marking and setup
- Serve as course support or official during events
- Support lead bike or golf cart operations
- Sweep courses following events to ensure completion and safety
Logistics & Support
- Organize and distribute race packets
- Assist in directing volunteers and managing race-day flow
- Drive rental vans or company vehicles as needed
- Support all additional operational needs to ensure events run smoothly
Qualifications and skills
- Eligible to work in South Dakota, USA
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 80 lbs.
- Must be able to commit to scheduled event dates
- Comfortable with early mornings, long days, and outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Team-oriented with a willingness to take direction and adapt
- Interest in running, events, or community involvement is a plus
