We’re a locally owned specialty running retailer built on four core pillars:
1.) Retail Excellence
Delivering personalized shoe and gear fittings that help people feel confident, comfortable, and supported.
2.) Events & Timing
Producing races and experiences that highlight movement, celebration, and community.
3.) Coaching, Clinics & Connection
Creating opportunities for education, training, and togetherness through the 605 Run Crew, and the Zenith Endurance Race Team.
4.) Philanthropy
Working alongside local nonprofits to strengthen Sioux Falls and support the people who live here.
Our personalized fitting process is the heart of what we do — and it’s what makes our stores more than just a place to shop.
Working at 605
Every team member at 605 builds foundational skills in customer care, product knowledge, and our fitting process. These skills begin with our Fit Advisor responsibilities — the starting point for anyone who wants to grow within the retail, events, and community sides of the business.
We value people who:
No running experience required — many customers aren’t runners themselves. What matters is your desire to learn, connect, and contribute.

How to Apply
We use a paper application, available at both of our store locations.
We typically hire starting at age 18, as team members take on responsibilities such as working solo and opening/closing the shop after training.
This process helps us meet prospective team members in person and gives you a chance to see each location for yourself.

- Return the completed application in-store (preferably at a separate time from pickup)
