Hey guys, Its Connor. Does anyone have trouble remembering to drink water? I know for me that was a major struggle during my freshman year of cross country season. I would never drink enough and then the day of the race after running I would get dehydrated and just feel awful and not perform as well as I did when I had been remembering to drink enough water. So a few of my friends and I were talking and we found this app called “Plant Nanny”. For the app you give it your height and bodyweight and then how much you exercise and it determines how much water you need daily to be at peak performance, but that’s not even the fun part. You start off with being able to grow a seed into a plant. Each time you drink a cup of water then you press the water button and it waters your plant. If you water your plant enough every day then you can plant another one. Each one you plant will give you more seeds and then you will be able to buy more exotic and cool plants. It will also send you reminders to drink enough throughout the day not just a lot of water at once. The app will send alerts so that you feel well throughout the day. Overall it has helped me a lot with trying to stay committed to drinking enough water and I've been feeling good all day, especially on the run. Happy Running, Connor Watley

s for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
